How to remove chocolate stains from cotton clothes

Clothing is the easiest to clean, even if it has been stained with chocolate. Moisten the area with the stain slightly, and then apply a little hand soap or liquid detergent directly to the chocolate stain.

Rub gently and leave to act for a few minutes. Then wash by hand to remove excess soap and put it in the washing machine with the rest of the laundry. If you see that the stain has not been completely removed, you will have to repeat the process.

Remove chocolate stains from delicate clothes

Chocolate stains have no mercy on even the most delicate clothing. So if it’s that delicate fabric shirt that’s gotten dirty, try a mix of a little ammonia, water, and just a pinch of salt. Once you have put these three ingredients in a bowl, put the garment to be washed and let it act for a few minutes, no more so that the ammonia does not damage the clothes. Then rinse with water as in the previous point and wash in the washing machine on the appropriate programmer.

If you’re shy about using ammonia, you can use a little baking soda instead. It is most effective and takes care of delicate clothes. This trick is also highly recommended if you are trying to remove chocolate stains on white.

What do I do if the chocolate stain has dried?

It is not easy to wash clothes that have been stained at the moment, so if the chocolate stain has been on the clothes for a few hours, you will have to remove a layer by scraping it with a spoon or a knife. Of course, very carefully so as not to damage the fabric.

Afterward, it is best to apply the mixture based on ammonia or sodium bicarbonate that we have explained to you before and wash it in the washing machine according to the program. You will see that your clothes are spotless!

Hydrogen peroxide to get rid of stubborn chocolate stains

Try this: mix jar that you have at home two parts of hydrogen peroxide to one of the water, apply it to the stain carefully and, without rubbing too much, let it act for about 10 minutes. Then rinse with cold or lukewarm water, and wash with the rest of the laundry.

Most likely, the clothes will come out without any stains, but if there are remains, you will have to repeat the process from the beginning. Or you can also use the trick of putting a little hand soap or liquid detergent on the sense, since you have already treated it before, it will come out with this method without any problem.
